Peanut Butter Apple Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

If you are not inspired for cooking, but you want something beautiful and tasty, this smoothie might be just what you need. Apples and peanut butter are made for each other. That’s it.

Some people just can’t get past the color. But when you tell them it’s just apple and peanut butter, they are going to love it (without questioning is there any spinach inside). And really, there is. Spinach is one of the healthiest veggies ever. It’s full of protein, vitamins and minerals which you probably wouldn’t get if it wasn’t hidden by an apple and peanut butter flavor. Spinach also contains a lot of iron, which helps your body to use energy more efficiently.

An apple is there to give our smoothie that nice flavor and to keep the doctor away with its minerals and vitamins. Orange juice fits perfectly with apple and peanut butter flavor, and it’s great source of vitamin C. Mango is full of antioxidants and besides improving digestion, it also helps in prevention of diseases like Asthma, hearth diseases and diabetes.

This smoothie is really tasty option for all those who don’t love classic greenish smoothies. Give it a try, it will make you feel great!

Peanut Butter Strawberry Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

If you happen to find yourself face-to-face with the most perfect strawberries you have ever seen, remember this smoothie. This might not be the most appropriate way to serve them; but it’s so delicious!

Strawberries are great, very healthy, and they are going to give our smoothie that fruity flavor. But the lead role goes to… Peanut butter!

If you are making your own peanut butter, congratulations! Otherwise, make sure you buy a right one. All you need to make a peanut butter are peanuts and a little bit of salt. That’s it. Any brand that has more than that in their ingredient list isn’t the right brand for you. This smoothie will have two layers. It’s a perfect balance between the nutty top layer and the fruity bottom layer, so don’t just throw all those ingredients in the blender.

First off, blend peanut butter, oat milk, banana and 2 ice cubes in a blender. Then divide the strawberries into 2 large cups and muddle them with some fresh lime juice. After that, pour the peanut butter mini smoothie on top of the strawberry mash and serve. It looks great and it tastes even better!

This smoothie is a piece of art! Nutty and milky, but then again fruity and sweet. You should definitely try it.

Peanut Butter Protein Bomb Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

Sometimes, you want a really strong chocolate smoothie. Other times, you want a healthy greenish smoothie. Well, the two don’t need to be mutually exclusive. This smoothie is a sort of healthy green smoothie disguised as a peanut butter chocolate smoothie – it has veggies and plenty of protein, but it tastes rich and chocolaty at the same time.

This smoothie contains about 15 grams of protein, but if you decide to un-veganize the smoothie and use milk, dairy ice cream or yogurt instead of the soy milk, you could increase the content of protein even more. Pretty decent amount of protein comes from banana, cherries and kale, but chia seeds, peanut butter and soy milk do the most of the work.

The smoothie itself will be super thick when you are done blending. If you like it to be a little thinner, then just add more soy milk (or cow milk, if you are not a vegan). I also use a coconut milk ice cream, so you can let it melt a bit before blending, too.

This is one of those ninja smoothies – it contains greens and tastes rich and sweet, which is a perfect combination of enjoying and getting valuable nutrients at the same time.

Black but Great Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

Yeah, it looks blackish. But, please don’t be afraid by the color of our smoothie. It tastes way better than it looks. This smoothie gets its color from blueberries, which are, by the way, very rich in antioxidants. Kale is also partially responsible for the color of our smoothie. But you know what? It’s also one of the healthiest vegetables in the world. So, when you put things in that perspective, black is the new green!

This powerful smoothie contains super healthy almond milk which is unique on flavor and full of vitamins. Dates helps with everything from constipation to sexual dysfunction. If you are looking for a fruit that has the title of the healthiest one on the planet, then try dates. Bananas are there to add that creamy flavor to our smoothie and pack it with energy.

So, we are having the healthiest ever vegetable and fruit in the same smoothie. Isn’t that great? Extra tip: If your bananas are freckled and brown, instead throwing them peel and cut them and then put them in your freezer. They are perfect for smoothies!

So, this smoothie is black and unattractive, but it’s also one of the healthiest out there. Give it a try!

Greenish Peanut Butter Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

Are you looking for a healthy but tasty smoothie? Well, this is it. It looks greenish, but it tastes super delicious. Banana is there to make our smoothie energetic and lift up your spirits. It helps with high blood pressure, too. Peanut butter is packed with protein and nutrients and, above all, it tastes great, so we made it a part of our smoothie.

By adding some nut milk, we are enhancing flavor and along the way, getting valuable vitamins and minerals for our smoothie. And there are plenty of them in nut milk, that’s a fact. Kale is there as one of the healthiest foods on the planet, with tons of densely packed nutrients and antioxidants. It is also an excellent source of minerals. Kale is good for lowering cholesterol, too. Extraordinary, isn’t it?

So, if you are lacking green in your diet, but don’t want to eat it, this smoothie should help you out. Enjoy beautiful flavor and still get all the nutrients you need.
