Sunset Yogurt Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

Do you love strawberries? Those pretty red berries which give your smoothie a beautiful pink color and that flyffy light flavor that everybody loves. But not just that, it’s also packed with vitamins and it reduces cholesterol as well as risk of hearth attack. Strawberries alleviate allergies and fight against free radicals, which is something that everybody needs.

Part of our smoothie are Greek yogurt and oranges, which are great boosters of the natural sweetness of strawberries. They can turn this smoothie into a incredibly delicious and energizing breakfast. Orange is full of vitamin C and antioxidants, which can be quite beneficiary for you. It’s perfect if you’re a fan of the popular Sunrise smoothie served in many restaurants and smoothie bars. Greek yogurt will improve your digestion and help you lose weight while still eating dairy. It contains lactic acid that protects your teeth, which is a super quality. Greek yogurt also contains a lot of protein, making you feel full of energy.

As for milk, if you don’t want to use soy milk, you can use unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk. Both work great here!

So, this is one super fluffy, super tasty smoothie which you should definitely try.

Vegetable Ninja Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

Vegetable Ninja Smoothie is designed to hide vegetables that you hate with flavor of fruits that you love. It’s simple, but genius. So, what you get is one smoothie packed with fruits and vegetables, but all you will taste is fruit flavor. We have one carrot as a great source of vitamin A, a few small vine tomatoes which contain important alpha-lipoid acid which helps the body to convert sugars like glucose into energy and is rich in antioxidants. A lot of spinach is used too, because it’s rich in nutrients and it acts like a vitamin bomb.

And now – fruits. You can use apple or pear as a base, because they are rich in flavor and add one whole orange and either strawberries or pineapple to enhance flavor. You can even add avocado to give it some creamy texture. If you don’t have some of these fruits just think about any fruit with strong flavor like blueberries and use it instead. It’s the same thing with the veggies too. If you have something that you don’t like, just add it instead of tomatoes. Smoothie rules are made to be broken. Anyway, this is a great way to provide your body with needed nutrients without having to force yourself to eat something that you don’t like.
