Blue Yogurt Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

During the hot days, everybody needs something nice and refreshing. Well, this smoothie is all that and more. It’s creamy, healthy and delicious. And if your kids don’t like yogurt, just don’t tell them about it. Instead, serve them with this smoothie and watch them enjoy.

The recipe itself is really simple. First off, one cup of plain unflavored yogurt and one cup of fruit you have at hand at the moment. It can be berries, bananas, pineapple, peaches – anything works! There are so many delicious combinations… You literaly can’t go wrong when making this smoothie.

Berries are full of antioxidants and good for cleaning organism. Bananas will give you energy, peaches are good for the eyes and pineapple is full of vitamins and it tastes super great. Every fruit you put in your smoothie will help you to stay young and healthy, and above all – in good mood!

Add some milk to regulate the consistency of your smoothie. If you like your smoothie to be very thick, then you can leave out the milk. If you wish, you can replace cow milk with almond or nut milk. It’s important to have some fruit juice or honey for sweetness. Honey may be the better choice since it adds sweetness without messing with the purity of the fruit you decided to use. Also, honey doesn’t thin out the smoothie. At the end, we add a lot of ice, to make our smoothie a bit more like a milkshake.

This is one summer smoothie. Very light, refreshing and tasty.

Triple Pleasure Yogurt Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

This is one of those milky and fruity smoothies that you just need to have from time to time. It has some fats, since it contains some milk, but life is too short, so sometimes you should enjoy yourself a little bit.

First we have a mix of frozen berries. Berries are super food. They taste great, they make your smoothie look great and they are healthy. Berries are full of antioxidants and they are going to help you clean your body and feel overall better. They don’t have to be frozen, but this way they are available all year long. If you see a sale of berries, just buy them, put them in your freezer and use them in your smoothies whenever you like.

Next on our list of ingredients is a vanilla yogurt. Ooohh yes. That’s the real deal. Yogurt boost your immune system, helps in recovery after a workout and is high on protein. Light, tasty and heathly.

One cup of milk can be replaced with some almond or nut milk of your choice if you are looking for a healthier option. Finally, bananas are there to give you energy and make you feel fuller.

Anyway, this smoothie is super delicious, fruity, milky, fluffy and you should give it a try.

Peanut Butter Strawberry Smoothie

By Michelle | December 30, 2016

If you happen to find yourself face-to-face with the most perfect strawberries you have ever seen, remember this smoothie. This might not be the most appropriate way to serve them; but it’s so delicious!

Strawberries are great, very healthy, and they are going to give our smoothie that fruity flavor. But the lead role goes to… Peanut butter!

If you are making your own peanut butter, congratulations! Otherwise, make sure you buy a right one. All you need to make a peanut butter are peanuts and a little bit of salt. That’s it. Any brand that has more than that in their ingredient list isn’t the right brand for you. This smoothie will have two layers. It’s a perfect balance between the nutty top layer and the fruity bottom layer, so don’t just throw all those ingredients in the blender.

First off, blend peanut butter, oat milk, banana and 2 ice cubes in a blender. Then divide the strawberries into 2 large cups and muddle them with some fresh lime juice. After that, pour the peanut butter mini smoothie on top of the strawberry mash and serve. It looks great and it tastes even better!

This smoothie is a piece of art! Nutty and milky, but then again fruity and sweet. You should definitely try it.
