Alright, this smoothie will kick things up a notch. We are not going to make a smoothie healthy, but how about we make it a superfood smoothie? Besides cacao, spirulina is my favorite super food. It contains over 70 per cent of your daily needs of many vitamins and is the richest source of protein on Earth. It gives a nice green color to the smoothie due to its high chlorophyll content, but you won’t even taste it when it gets mixed up with other flavors. Cacao is super antioxidant, full of protein and fibers. It’s powerful antidepressant too, so it’s super food not just for your body, but for your spirit too.
This smoothie has sweet, creamy and rich flavor thanks to the Greek yogurt. It has your entire daily needs of iron, which is important for keeping your energy and preventing anemia. Greek yogurt is also packed with protein and healthy bacteria which will boost your immune system and improve digestion. Hemp seed protein is also used, mainly because it’s rich in fiber, magnesium and Omega 3 fatty acids. Kiwi is full of vitamins and delicious flavor, which will make our smoothie taste better. Banana is also added because it’s full of good sugars which will add energy to our smoothie.
All in all, this is one green, healthy super smoothie packed with proteins and vitamins that you need.
